Project Destiny's Early Learning Center
EARLY LEARNING CENTER
At Project Destiny’s Early Learning Center children are cared for in a safe, nurturing environment with trained staff providing each child with age appropriate activities. We are committed to helping your child reach each of the milestones appropriate for his or her development. Please keep us informed of changes in your child’s life outside of the Learning Center that might impact his or her success.
The learning center is owned and operated by Project Destiny, Inc. and is located at Community College of Allegheny County, Allegheny Campus, Byer’s Hall, 800 Ridge Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15212. It is open from 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and cares for children from 18 months to six (6) years of age. We accept subsidy payments.
Our curriculum reinforces values such as respect, kindness, sharing, and courtesy. We provide a stimulating and supportive environment in which your child can learn. We focus on 7 areas of development: exploration, gross and fine motor skills, cognitive development, math concepts, reading/language, and self-expression. Through the dynamic partnership between the child, parent and teacher, a consistent framework for learning is developed, offering an “education for life”. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided at the appropriate times during the day.
Parents interested in enrolling their child and having a guided tour can contact us at (412) 237-6509.
